One thing that still does seem a little wonky is when you hold something out in front of you. There is definitely a chance that making this change could break stuff and I've done pretty much no testing and just found this from playing around with the game files. Voila the game should hopefully be running much smoother with no more stuttering, frame pacing, or choppy movement. So, now that you have those two changes made and your files backed up you can go to File -> Save All to save these updated Assemblies back into the Maquette game folder. If something does happen to go wrong when replacing these files you can always verify the integrity of the game files and they will be replaced with the version from Steams servers. That way you can replace them if something happens to go wrong. This will be found just under the other search result. In FPcontroller you will need to change the name of the method FixedUpdate to be Update. Copy the contents of FixedUpdate and paste them into the bottom of the Update function that is already present and then click compile. To do this right click on the where FPCtrl is shown in the Assembly Explorer in the left side of the window and select "Edit Class (C#).". In "" you will need to move the contents of the FixedUpdate method into Update and remove the FixedUpdate method. There will be many results, but you only have to make a change in a few. In this search box search for FixedUpdate. Once you have these opened you can click edit from the top menu bar and do search assemblies, or ctrl+shift+k. These can be found by going into the properties of the game on Steam going into "Maquette_Data" -> "Managed". Once downloaded you will need to open up dnSpy and open two files from the Maquette game files, "Assebmly-CSharp.dll" and "". I personally used dnSpy which can be found at this link. I would also recommend to save the old versions of these files just in case anything goes wrong.įirst download something that can decompile Unity C# aseemblies. ![]() ![]() It is a bit of an involved fix that involved decompiling some of the C# that comes with the game and replacing it. I'm posting here so other people can try this fix out to see if it works for you. I've found a fix that seems to be working, but could possibly cause some other side effects that I haven't ran into yet. As some other posts have stated, frame pacing/player movement in this game does not feel very smooth at all and will often cause the frame rate to dip on machines that should generally be more than powerful to handle the game. ![]()
